Oversai vs Supportman

The Oversai alternative for Intercom teams.

Oversai is an AutoQA and voice-of-customer tool built specifically for Intercom, delivered through a Chrome extension that scores conversations as you work. It is a small, Intercom-first player, and pricing is not public.

Supportman is also Intercom-first, but connects natively (no browser extension to keep running) and adds the piece most teams actually act on: CSAT/DSAT pushed straight to Slack in real time, plus AI quality scoring on every closed conversation, at a published per-user price.

Why Intercom teams compare

Native scoring, not a browser extension.

With Oversai

  • Runs as a Chrome extension over Intercom, rather than a native backend integration
  • Pricing is not public — no published rate card
  • No real-time Slack alerting documented; scoring lives inside the extension/dashboard
  • Small, newer entrant without an established public review base
  • Scores conversations individually; no persistent record of a customer’s problem across separate conversations

With Supportman

  • Native Intercom + Slack connection, no browser extension required
  • Published per-user pricing from $5/user/mo
  • Real-time CSAT & DSAT alerts in Slack
  • AI quality scoring (IQS) on every closed conversation
  • Building Problem Episodes: linking a customer’s repeat conversations and flagging when a “resolved” problem comes back
Price comparison

Oversai vs Supportman pricing, side by side.

Oversai does not publish pricing. Supportman lists per-user pricing on the site: $5/user/mo for the Slack loop, $15/user/mo with AI evaluations, no sales call.

Migration

Switch from Oversai in a week.

  1. Note which conversation attributes Oversai flags today — carry the ones you actually act on into Supportman’s rubric.
  2. Connect Intercom and Slack directly in Supportman (no extension to install or maintain).
  3. Route DSAT ratings to a Slack channel to replace whatever alerting you have manually built around Oversai.
  4. Run one week side by side, comparing IQS to Oversai’s scores on the same 20 conversations.
  5. Uninstall the Oversai extension once your team is checking Supportman’s Slack alerts and weekly report instead.

Straight talk

When Oversai is the better pick.

Oversai is a narrowly focused, Intercom-specific AutoQA and VoC tool, and if its scoring approach and extension-based workflow already fit how your team reviews conversations, it is a reasonable fit for that specific job. But with pricing and integration depth both undocumented publicly, it is hard to evaluate against a team’s actual costs and infrastructure needs before talking to them directly. Supportman publishes its price and connects at the account level rather than the browser.

FAQ

Oversai vs Supportman, answered.

Q.01

Is Oversai the same as Supportman?

No. Both score Intercom conversations with AI, but Oversai runs as a Chrome extension over your Intercom inbox, while Supportman connects natively to your Intercom and Slack accounts and adds real-time CSAT/DSAT alerts and a weekly report.

Q.02

How much does Oversai cost?

Oversai does not publish pricing. Supportman is public: $5 per user per month for notifications and reports, $15 per user with AI evaluations, with a free trial and no credit card.

Q.03

Does Oversai integrate with Slack?

Not that is publicly documented. Supportman pushes CSAT and DSAT ratings to Slack the moment they land, and includes a Friday team report.

Q.04

Does either tool track a customer’s problem across more than one conversation?

Not today. Both currently score conversations individually. Supportman is building Problem Episodes: linking a customer’s related conversations into one record and flagging, with a quoted excerpt as evidence, when a “resolved” problem resurfaces. It is in build now, targeted for later this year.

Q.05

Do I need to install a browser extension to use Supportman?

No. Supportman connects directly to your Intercom and Slack accounts, nothing to install in the browser or keep running on an agent’s machine.

Q.06

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Supportman offers a free trial with no credit card, live in under two minutes.
