Help Scout happiness ratings, in Slack.
A customer rates a conversation Not good and leaves a comment explaining exactly what went wrong. That is the most useful thing your team will read all week, and it sits in the Happiness report until somebody goes looking for it.
Supportman does this for Intercom today: ratings, weekly reports, and AI quality scores delivered straight to Slack. Help Scout is not connected yet. Tell us you want it and we will build it for teams like yours.

Help Scout collects the signal. Nobody is standing there to receive it.
Help Scout is a good help desk and the Happiness report is a good report. The problem is not the data. It is that acting on it depends on someone remembering to go and look.
✕ Ratings nobody sees in time
A Not Good rating with a comment attached is the single most useful thing a support team gets all week. In Help Scout it waits in a report until someone opens it. By then the customer has moved on.
✕ Reports you have to go and fetch
The Happiness report is good, but it is a destination. Nobody visits a dashboard on a Friday afternoon. A weekly summary that arrives in the channel gets read.
✕ The unrated majority
Only a fraction of conversations ever get rated, and the ones that do skew to the extremes. Help Scout can only report on ratings it received, which leaves most of your quality picture blank.
✕ Traffic is not quality
Help Scout's Slack app tells you a conversation was created, assigned, or replied to. Useful for coordination. It does not tell you whether the reply was any good.
Help Scout's own documentation on satisfaction ratings, the Happiness report, and its Slack integration describes what the platform does natively. Supportman is not a replacement for any of it.
Everything Intercom teams get. Reading Help Scout instead.
This is not a different product. It is the same quality layer with a different help desk plugged into the front of it.
Planned · Happiness ratings in Slack
Great, Okay, and Not Good posted to your channel the moment the customer submits, with their comment, the inbox, and the assigned agent.
Planned · Not Good alerts
Route negative ratings to their own channel so a bad week is something you catch on Tuesday, not in the monthly review.
Planned · Friday team & agent reports
Weekly summary to the channel, a private DM to each agent. Volume, response time, and the happiness breakdown across your inboxes.
Planned · AI quality scoring
Score out of 100 on every closed conversation, graded against a rubric you set, so coaching is not limited to the conversations that happened to get rated.
Planned · Predicted happiness
A predicted rating for the conversations customers never rated, which on Intercom is roughly nine in ten of them.
Planned · Multiple inboxes, multiple channels
Map each Help Scout inbox to the Slack channel that owns it, rather than piling every team into one feed.
Happiness rating received:
Rating: Not good
Inbox: Billing
Assigned: Dana R.
“Took four days to get a straight answer about my refund.”
Open in Help Scout
Quality score on a conversation nobody rated:
Score: 62 / 100 · missed the refund policy question
Connect Help Scout. Connect Slack. Stop chasing ratings.
The Intercom version takes under two minutes to set up and no engineering time. Help Scout would be the same.
Authorize both.
Connect Help Scout and add Supportman to Slack. Pick which inboxes feed which channels. Help Scout's Inbox API and webhooks do the work: no engineering project on your side.
Signals flow automatically.
Happiness ratings arrive in the channel as customers submit them. Closed conversations get scored in the background, rated or not.
Coach from the channel.
Managers see ratings, scores, and the weekly report in the place they already have open. No new tab, no new login.
Join the waitlist. Tell us you run Help Scout.
We build for demand, not assumptions. Every signup here is a vote that moves Help Scout up the roadmap, and we would rather hear from you before we write the integration than after.
- We confirm your spot on the waitlist
- We ask which piece you would turn on first
- We email you when a Help Scout beta opens

Built for teams who live in the inbox.
Help Scout tends to win with small and mid-size teams who want a shared inbox rather than a platform. Those are exactly the teams with no analyst to run the quality numbers.
What Help Scout teams ask first.
Does Supportman work with Help Scout today?
No. Supportman reads Intercom and posts to Slack. Help Scout is not connected yet. This page is how we measure whether enough teams want it before we build it, so joining the waitlist genuinely changes what we work on.
How would this differ from Help Scout's own Slack integration?
Help Scout's native Slack app covers conversation traffic: notifications when a conversation is created, assigned, updated, replied to, or deleted, routed per inbox with its own rules. It is good at that. Supportman would sit a layer above it on quality, not traffic: every happiness rating in the channel as it lands, Not Good ratings routed somewhere they get answered, weekly team and per-agent reports, and an AI score on conversations nobody rated.
Which Help Scout ratings would show up in Slack?
All three. Help Scout asks customers to rate a conversation Great, Okay, or Not Good, with an optional comment. Supportman would post each rating with its comment, the inbox, and the assigned agent, and let you filter which ones go to which channel, the way the Intercom version does.
What about conversations customers never rate?
That is the gap Supportman exists to close. Most closed conversations never get rated, so the Happiness report is built on a self-selected minority. On Intercom, Supportman scores every closed conversation against a rubric and predicts a rating for the rest. The plan is the same on Help Scout.
Would Help Scout replace Intercom, or run alongside it?
Either. Teams running both would connect both and route each source to its own channel. Teams on Help Scout only would connect Help Scout and never touch Intercom. We would like to know which of those you are, so say so when you join the waitlist.
When would Help Scout support ship?
There is no ship date, and we would rather say that than invent one. We build against demand. If the waitlist shows a real cluster of Help Scout teams, it moves up the roadmap and we email you when a beta opens.
What should I tell you when I sign up?
Team size, how many inboxes you run, whether Help Scout is your only help desk, and which piece you would turn on first: rating notifications, Not Good alerts, weekly reports, or AI quality scoring. That is what decides the build order.
