What is wrong in your help centre?
Fin and your customers both answer from your help centre. Paste its address and we will check every article for broken links, orphans, internal notes published by mistake, near-empty pages and content nobody has touched in years.
- 01Paste the address of your public Intercom help centre.
- 02We read every article and check the links, structure and dates.
- 03You get an email with a link to the report. Every finding names the article and the URL.
Broken links in articles
Every link inside every article, internal and external, is requested. Dead pages and dead outbound links are listed with the article they sit in.
Evidence: Article, dead URL, HTTP status
Orphaned articles
Articles that no other article links to. Customers only reach them through search, if at all.
Evidence: Article title and URL
Internal articles left public
Published articles whose titles look like internal notes or Fin guidance, such as [Fin guidance], [internal] or [draft].
Evidence: Title, URL, collection
Thin pages
Articles with almost no body text once navigation and footer are stripped. Often a stub that was never finished.
Evidence: Title, URL, word count
Not updated in ages
Articles whose last-updated date is long past. A signal to review, not a verdict that the content is wrong.
Evidence: Title, URL, last updated, age
We show facts you can check, not a letter grade. More checks are planned: expired content, missing regulatory pages, leaked internals, contradictions, near-duplicate articles, translation drift.
A help centre drifts. Check it on a schedule.
The weekly audit reruns these checks and emails you what changed. See how weekly audits will work.
Gaps in a help centre show up later as repeat questions and bad ratings. Supportman puts those ratings in Slack as they land. See the product.
What is a help centre audit?
An automated read of every public article in your help centre that reports checkable problems: links that return errors, articles nothing links to, internal notes published by mistake, near-empty pages and content nobody has updated in years. Each finding comes with the article and URL so you can fix it.
Is the free audit really free?
Yes. You give us the help centre URL, and we email you the report. There is no card, and no trial to cancel.
Which help centres does it work on?
Public Intercom help centres only, including custom domains that serve an Intercom help centre. We read public pages, so there is no login and no Intercom access to grant. If yours is on another platform, leave your email and we will tell you when it is supported.
Does it use AI?
The checks live today are deterministic: they count and test things, so the same help centre gives the same findings. We never call the agent or your content “wrong”, we show the evidence and you decide.
What happens to my email?
The audit page asks for it so it can send you the report. Running an audit does not add you to a mailing list.
