Restart an expired trial from the Intercom inbox

Expired and cancelled workspaces get a restart button inside the Intercom inbox app, with reconnect prompts if Slack or Intercom needs re-authorising.

When a trial ends, the Supportman panel in the Intercom inbox now says so and offers a way back in, instead of showing a share form that silently does nothing.

What's new

  • Expired and cancelled workspaces see a "Your Supportman trial has ended" card in the inbox app with a Restart my trial button. Restarting happens without leaving the conversation.
  • Before restarting, Supportman checks that your Slack and Intercom connections are still valid. If either has gone stale you're sent to reconnect it first.
  • If you press Cancel on Slack's permission screen during install, you now land on a page that explains what declining means and offers a link to try again, rather than being bounced back to the same prompt.

Reliability

One workspace with an outdated Slack token could stall the inbox app for every other team. Channel lookups are now isolated per workspace, so the Share to Slack panel opens promptly for everyone.
