Ratings in SlackTrial, Pro and above
A separate channel for bad ratings
A DSAT channel keeps bad ratings out of the celebration feed and in front of the people who can follow up while the conversation is still fresh.
Set it up
- Create the Slack channel you want, for example #intercom-dsat.
- Open the Supportman app in Slack and go to Settings → Channels → DSAT channel.
- Pick the channel. From then on, OK, Bad and Terrible ratings (1 to 3 stars) post there, and Great and Amazing ratings stay in the main channel.
Turn it off
Click Clear next to the DSAT channel to send every rating to the main channel again.
Questions
Can I change which ratings count as negative?
Not at the moment: OK, Bad and Terrible always go to the DSAT channel. To hide a rating level entirely, switch it off under Settings → Ratings → Send these ratings.
Is the DSAT channel on the Basic plan?
Choosing a DSAT channel is part of the trial and of Pro and higher plans. If you move to Basic, a channel you already set keeps working but can’t be changed.
